Support continues to grow for Governor Patrick and Lieutenant Governor Murray as endorsements stream in. Last week, the governor received three mayoral endorsements, emphasizing his dedication to helping cities and towns in the Commonwealth by preserving local aid.
- Last week Governor Patrick received endorsements from Brockton Mayor Linda Balzotti, Salem Mayor Kimberley Driscoll and Newton Mayor Setti Warren.
- "Governor Patrick has been a terrific partner for communities across the Commonwealth," stated Mayor Kimberley Driscoll. "The Governor's support on key initiatives and projects in Salem as well as his advocacy on statewide issues that are important to cities and towns have had a positive impact on our community."
- "I am pleased to announce my endorsement of Governor Patrick and Lt. Governor Murray. Both the Governor and the Lieutenant Governor have been excellent partners for the city of Newton and the cities and towns across the Commonwealth, advocating for level funding local aid and bringing much needed leadership to important issues like clean energy, job creation and education," said Mayor Warren. "They have brought this Commonwealth through some difficult times and it is critical that we ensure they are reelected to another term to finish what we have started.
